The Board of Directors of SEEL, Swedish Electric Transport Laboratory AB, has appointed Victoria Woyland as the new CEO.

SEEL plays a crucial role as a technology infrastructure supporting the Swedish and European automotive, aviation, and maritime industries in their rapid transition towards electrification.

“SEEL is in an exciting phase, having launched and inaugurated three major test and research facilities for electromobility in Säve (Gothenburg), Nykvarn, and Borås. I am delighted to welcome Victoria Woyland as our new CEO! Given her extensive experience and expertise, I am confident that she is the right person to lead SEEL into its next chapter,” says Lars Ljungqvist, Chairman of the Board at SEEL.

Victoria Woyland has nearly 20 years of experience in various roles within the automotive industry and has held several senior positions within Volvo Group. Most recently, she served as CEO of EpinovaTech AB.

“The testing and research conducted at SEEL will play a decisive role in the transition to an electrified transport system. I look forward to building on the strong collaboration established between industry, institutes and academia, and to further enhancing the value we provide for our customers,” says Victoria Woyland.

Victoria Woyland succeeds Henrik Svenningstorp, who has led SEEL since its inception in May 2017—first as a project leader and later as CEO. Henrik Svenningstorp will take on a new role as Head of Strategic Research and Business in Energy and Electrification at RISE.
